RelationDegree instantly analyses a number of resources on the Web in which given notions are jointly used. This permits to create highly reliable associative popularity and coherency rankings that can then be used to the following ends.

With RelationDegree you can:

Find out and compare popularity of different concepts and people on the Web. Just type a term or a name into the search form and you will find out how often the requested concepts are found on the Web pages to describe images and news. Further we will be able to compare these numbers with the corresponding quantities for the other terms or people. For example, man versus woman. Women are loosing, i.e., there are much more of pages and images devoted to men.
Find out how closely the different concepts or people are related with a given term. I.e. how often these concepts are cited simultaneously on Web pages, in the image descriptions or in the latest news. Just enter a word or a person's name into the form at the bottom of the list. The analysis will indicate the relative absolute number of pages, images and news with the joint record of the requested terms. Remember that RelationDegree is, first of all, a service and not a set of static data. The project is intended for a user able to read, write and, and above all, think. All data is entered only by users. That is why it can sometimes contain an incomplete information. If you think that some information is incomplete, feel free to add some other expressions that in your opinion are closely related to a given notion. The analysing algorithm is sufficiently stable to make a good ranking. You will not be able to brake something, so don't be scared, try it. One need also to understand that because of the service's specificity, the notions belonging to different classes can be mixed in one list of the search result. This is because different users can follow different goals. Besides, the service makes a frequency analysis only when the new expression in requested by a user, there are no recalculations in the future. With the lapse of time, the data expires. That is why we recommend you to resubmit all those terms and notions that currently interest you.

Notice that the search robot is configured to identify strict compliance. I.e. the lexemes are considered in the way you have specified them. Therefore results for the different word forms and word combinations can be different.
